Abundant Yoga is culturally relevant yoga with a Kingdom focus!
Offering abundantly more than a yoga practice, we are a diverse Bible-centric community of people inclusive of all body types, denominations, and backgrounds.
We offer a complete experience of union with our Creator through meditation that is still, movement that is gentle, and postures that are powerful.
Biblical Focus
Our mission is to bring healing and the gospel to the world in an abundant way through the vehicle of yoga. We share real yoga with real people who are loving God doing yoga.

Abundant Love Stories

It was absolutely life-changing. I sincerely mean that. The atmosphere and community is like none other. It makes me feel free to try something new even if I’m going to look awkward or fall during the try. There is definitely a spirit of grace and community in every class. That spirit starts with the teachers and it trickles down to each person. We feel like we are all in this together.
Laura Burkhart

Yoga helped me recover mentally, physically, and spiritually. I now trust my body again. I completely rebuilt my endurance. My mind and my body are still the most in-sync when I am on the mat. Yoga has taught me that it is okay for my body to feel different each day and to honor that without judgement. There is no judgement in Abundant Yoga classes. There is only encouragement.
Heather Rhodes

God is present at Abundant Yoga. I’ve been to many yoga studios that are inhabited by a negative spirit. The yoga world is full of faux meditative nonsense. At Abundant Yoga, however, I can choose life and embrace wisdom through the Word of God. I often consider the lack of meaning and emptiness offered at other studios & give thanks for the life affirming message from Abundant Yoga.

Keleah Anderson
Keleah came to yoga through two passions – cheerleading and gymnastics and has been sharing a passion for the Lord through fitness training for over half her life, beginning in 1991 and focused on yoga since 2001. She had always experienced movement as an expression of her soul, but in yoga, she found an even deeper connection to the God she knew and loved. She found home – a place of being, not doing. Her deepest intention is to awaken the heart within others to experience the same. Keleah’s diverse background and studies of yoga and anatomy have enriched her own unique style of teaching and her classes provide the body an opportunity for movement, stillness, worship, prayer, and meditation all in one. Keleah resides in Franklin, TN with her husband and has three children.

Julie Smith
Julie Smith is a wife and mom of five and has been teaching yoga since 2013. A journey with chronic pain led her to Mayo Clinic where she was prescribed yoga. Yoga helped so much that she felt compelled to share it with others. Julie has authored Abundant Yoga’s Biblical Directives – specific scripture tied to each posture. She is also our resident Healthy Hips and Backs instructor and expert!

Leslie McElravy
Leslie has been practicing yoga for about 10 years. She was first certified through Holy Yoga in 2017. She has also training in Holy Yoga Touch and Leadership and received a second 200-hr certification through Abundant Yoga. God has gifted her in the areas of assisting and touch and she leads Abundant Yoga’s training in these fields. Leslie and her husband live in Nashville.

Shaun Harris
Shaun has been practicing yoga since 2010 and became certified through Holy Yoga in 2011. He followed that certification with completing the Holy Yoga Masters training in 2012. Shaun has enjoyed functional movement from the time he received a black belt in Isshin-Ryu when he was 18. The martial arts attention to breath, form, and study of efficient body movement is what eventually led Shaun to his love for yoga. As an avid hiker, Shaun leverages yoga for both strength and flexibility and enjoys seeing others benefit from “owning” their individual practice on their mat.

Abbey Harris
Practicing yoga since 2004 and teaching since 2014, Abbey’s passion has been leading yoga for women in pregnancy and postpartum recovery as a RN-BSN. Prenatally certified through Holy Yoga, and a 200 RYT, she’s combined her work with midwives in birth centers since 2010 and her yoga background to offer yoga classes for those in life transitions. Married to fellow yoga instructor Shaun Harris, they live in Nashville with their dog Captain and love to be outdoors.

Sarah Nichols
Sarah is our Chief Operating Officer. She also oversees all training programs and courses Abundant offers. She is a graduate of Abundant Yoga School (200 RYT) and holds additional training and certifications through YogaFaith (100-RYFT) and Yoga for Eating Disorders. Sarah is passionate about helping people rediscover connection with their bodies. She also loves to walk alongside new teachers, helping them find their teaching voice and style. Additionally, she consults for a variety of yoga businesses. Sarah, along with her husband and sweet dog Gus, resides in Franklin, TN.
